The witches of the Hollywood Hills say
it happened on a day just like today
exactly when no one can say
there was a certain way the light played
spreading out a hundred hazy miles
concrete buildings like product aisles
but in the canyon at sunset
like some kind of Romeo and Juliet
musicians and poets met
to show the future how to forget
and when everybody realized
they could do anything with their lives

The Dionysus society
